Soil analysis for fertility purposes: usefulness and importance
Abstract
Raising farmers' awareness about the importance of carrying out good management practices is a challenge for the State and everyone who knows about the matter. Although the soil is considered a living and renewable resource with a certain amount of nutrients, it takes many years for the microorganisms that inhabit it to transform them into a form available or assimilable for crops; In addition to this, there are nutrient losses that depend on the climate or agricultural practice used. Therefore, the nutritional imbalance can be caused by self-fixation, an inherent characteristic of fertilized and unfertilized land, in addition to the absorption capacity of the plants.
