Abstract

The importance or goodness of the soil in the development of sustainable agriculture, and therefore the improvement of human well-being and maintenance of a hospitable and healthy environment for current and future generations is known. It is necessary, then, to place emphasis and efforts on disseminating knowledge about the different processes in which the soil is involved, and the agricultural practices or technologies that to a greater or lesser degree affect these processes, and the actions that are carried out at the level of laboratory, field, and agricultural communities to know, promote, and improve.
