Abstract
The Socialist School of Tropical Agriculture (ESAT) was founded by the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) of the state of Lara through the initiative of a group of visionary researchers who, starting in 2002, put all their efforts into creating a high-level institute. academic, based on his ideas and desires to offer at the service of the community all the human potential, scientific-technical production and existing infrastructure at the INIA both in Lara and Maracay, in this way what was initially called the Postgraduate Commission emerged. approved in June 2002 by the Board of Directors of INIA, which later became the Dean of Postgraduate Studies.
