It is a free access journal, which since 2020 is published under the modality of a single volume with a continuous publication format, it is edited by the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrícolas (INIA) of Venezuela, and its objective is the scientific dissemination of information related to animal production, with an emphasis on tropical and subtropical regions, through the publication of original research articles, technical notes, review articles and special papers.
